Covering just 20 square meters, this work by Mathieu Merlet Briand instantly stands out. The Blue Screen Temple installation has such a strong color that you cannot just walk by without having a closer look.
Mathieu Merlet Briand took thousands of photographs and statistical data from one web search as the raw material. Then, everything was reworked with the use of an image manipulation algorithm created by him. Then, the installation was reminiscent of the famous Microsoft blue screen that tells you the computer system crashed.
A great part of everything is that you can enter the installation. You have an analogous structure that is similar in form to the structure of a classical temple. As soon as you walk in you step into a complete, immersive visual experience. Technologies and architecture join hands to create something special here.
