Two Languages House by Pepa Diaz Arquitecta

This beautiful house, the Two Languages House, is the work of Pepa Diaz Arquitecta. It was finished in 2019 and covers an area of 196 square meters. The goal of the architects was to rethink the need of the locals, obtaining horizontal infinite surfaces without a sense of belonging. The result definitely managed to achieve this goal.

The Two Languages House automatically stands out. Contemporary languages were explored and the current styles and stereotypes were avoided. The result is subtle, creating a space where nature and architecture coexist in a harmonious partnership.

As you can see, the use of natural light is perfect and the topography was challenging. Even so, it was not a problem for the architects that managed to perfect take advantage of every tool they had access to, even including a small swimming pool.

You can feel in contact with nature right from the home, which is definitely different than what is expected.
